Grid Art

You learn by your mistake!! I did my first grid art project and I did it the wrong way because I did not follow the instructions. I think it's a really good experience because I finally understand the grid art concept and my first project was really out of context, but I really enjoyed doing it and I'm happy that my teacher gave me a chance to learn from my mistake and do better. For this grid art project, I started by choosing the American flag, Haitian flag, and the University of Tampa logo. I chose those images because I was born in New York, USA but I was raised in Haiti so both of the countries are kind of my country. I added the University of Tampa's logo because, for me it represents a new way of living; independence, responsibility, and my new community. First of all, I opened an app called foto jet and I put the photo's that I cut and put carefully in the grids. It took me about two hours to do it and to make sure that everything was in the exact place and after the part where I remove the grid to put them together as one image was definitely the most difficult part. I really enjoyed doing this project because it made me feel like a computer genius and the funniest part is that I didn't even know I could've done that. I'm happy that I did a better job on this one to present to you guys. Thank you for your support and I hope you're really enjoy my work and do not forget that art can help you express your feelings.
